Think about it this way, elite athletes and lifters will train for hours and hours a day just to add a pound or two to their squat. All on top of a strict diet and proper recovery, such as 8-10 hours a night of sleep. That is their job. That is how they make a living. But not us.
To the first question of “Should I eat in the morning?” My answer is YES.
If you’ve done them, you love them. Or, at least, you should.
I want your healthy eating habits to start surpassing your unhealthy eating habits sooner than later. I want to teach you the foundation…
What makes the difference, at least in my eyes, is if the discount is even given.
But, what does that say about our style of training? To me, not much, about one word actually. Sustainable.
These are of course just some of the highlights we’ve seen. We may have missed some, and we have plenty more to be had. Friction Grand Rapids is more than a place, we are a collection of people who do great things every day.
For some people it’s about losing weight or gaining muscle. Others want the coaching and programming. A lot of folks are looking for a place to belong.
These are lessons we learned while trying not to puke or maybe wishing we had put more weight on the bar because we missed the challenge.
